I retrospect back to 2015, 100l second semester studying philosophy, it was election time, trust us, we were forming socio-political philosophers, always debating the whole election saga whereby the country was painted to be in an irredeemable state that can only be redeemed by our one and only savior Buhari. I make the sign of the cross here.

Four years later, in 2019, the aroma of failure filled the air space. Our one and only saviour had fallen at the third station on his way to Calvary to redeem us. He had fallen and could not pick himself up anymore. Yet, we picked him up by making excuses for his failures that were so glaring that even the blind received a miracle and could see it.

Oh! I forgot to mention his puppet right hand man, the "O" in-between the "B" and "T", so ineffective and insignificant, silent like a monk at contemplation, yet, they made excuses for him that his hands were tied. Hmmm!!! Nigerians in wonderland.

Now, this is 2022, a year to Nigeria decide, the silent monk is being unveiled, all of a sudden, he is becoming active, the voiceless voice has been amplified, he is no longer sharing trade money; the Osinbanjo narratives is being spread.

The big masquerade comes last, the icing of the cake, the jagaban himself, the boudillion, the "T" after the "B" and "O", the kingmaker coming to take over the throne himself as there are no worthy subjects, even with the baggage of old age and health issues he carries on his shoulders, with enough cases of corruption; he delivers himself to us as the hope, after the "B" change has changed our destiny negatively. What an hopeless hope.

No matter the narratives being pushed down to us, "O" would continue to be a puppet, while "T" would keep being a tyrant as evident in the Lekki Toll Gate massacre; it would end up being a case of a transition from frying pan to fire. If "T" takes over, "B"s regime would end up being a child's play, just as Jonathan was a child's play before the change of "B".

What then is the way forward? Truth be told, every way we thought to be the way forward has ended up being a way backward, we settle for the "LESSER EVIL" . No one can be trusted, the Wale Adenuga Production soap opera "THIS LIFE" comes to mind, where the father asked the son to jump from the roof, promising to pick him up, only for him to fail in his promise. He ended up advising his son to trust no one. We are this day advised also to trust no one.

No matter the case, the call for restructuring should be adhered to, the new electoral bill should be passed into law and electronic or online voting should be introduced, built into Blockchain so that it will not be hacked or rigged. In conclusion, get your P.V C, for in change, there is continuity.
